Accutane is an anti acne drug, the active ingredient of which is isotretinoin. The preparation belongs to a group of substances called retinoids. Drug name: Generic Accutane (Isotretinoin)
Therapeutic effects: The preparation is a retinoid, which is used in treatment of acne. The preparation works by inhibiting the proliferation of sebocytes, affecting acne and restoring the process of normal cell differentiation. It decreases production of skin sebum and suppresses the development of acne bacteria. The drug also expresses anti-inflammatory effects.
